Proper methods for eating Post Grape-nuts

Well one of my favorite cereals happens to be Grape-Nuts. Or Perhaps "Crunchy Nuggets" as it is known by the generic store brand or Walmart brand.

Yes the cereal with the hard little nuggets.

There is a proper method to thoroughly enjoying this cereal. Rather, there is more than one way.

I will detail the three methods I know of.

1.) Eat it crunchy.
Usually for the imatient and those with strong teeth. Would not recommend to those with chipped teeth. Or weak jaws.

2.) Let it sit method.
I am a practicioner of this method. One pour cereal into a bowl, then add sugar (not that much really, or per your taste) Then let it sit for about 3 - 10 minutes. This depends on the level of crunchiness you want it to retain. When you return it will be nice and soft and yummy. NOTE: Be careful how much you put into the bowl before adding milk. This cereal has an incredible expansion factor. May want to refrigerate it while soaking, it will become room temperature. (I know some people like their milk like really cold when they eat their cereal. Others like it warmer. which segways into our third method.

3.) Cook 'Em.
This is a method I have only tried it a few times. Place the grape nuts into the bowl per usual. But then you microwave the incredients for a period of time. With the Cereals absorption factor and heat it turns into a kind of oatmeal like dish. Never managed to get it right on my few tries. May require much less milk

NOTE: I eat grape nuts mostly for the texture and fun of it. Its not really known as a "Taste" cereal. More like a plain granola, and depends on sweetness of milk.

Note to self: Need to do blog on "Food preferences: Texture, Food preferences: Taste, Food Preferences: Fun factor, also do Blog on B4D and B4L.
